Review : Forgotten

Forgotten
by Cat Patrick
288 Pages
YA Novel
Published : June 7

Goodreads synopsis :
Each night when 16 year-old London Lane goes to sleep, her whole world disappears. In the morning, all that's left is a note telling her about a day she can't remember. The whole scenario doesn't exactly make high school or dating that hot guy whose name she can't seem to recall any easier. But when London starts experiencing disturbing visions she can't make sense of, she realizes it's time to learn a little more about the past she keeps forgetting-before it destroys her future.

Part psychological drama, part romance, and part mystery, this thought-provoking novel will inspire readers to consider the what-if's in their own lives and recognize the power they have to control their destinies.

Thoughts :

Before I say anything, I just have to say that I love this cover.  Its different, yet beautiful.  The part I most love about it is, the title.  I love how it takes up the whole cover but you can still see the image underneath.  That was the first thing that got me to check it out of the library.

I thoroughly liked this novel, but it was a bit slow in the beginning.  As I kept reading though I grew liking the book more.  I liked London's view of her world, it was different and unique.  London and Luke's relationship was different, it's more relate able to than any other book.  It is easy to understand and they have the same problems that other relationships in real life tend to have.

I recommend this book.
